LET ME INTRODUCE
Nia Association
At Nia Association, we believe in compassionate care with a personal touch. Our experienced staff and direct support professionals are here to ensure that you and your loved ones are taken care of just like family. We strive to be the best providers of support for people with intellectual & developmental barriers. We are dedicated to building awareness and advocating for people with various intellectual and physical barriers in our communities and organizations.
Nia was established in 1997 by a Clarksville couple: Sergeant Major Retired Daniel Stevens and Federal Government Retiree Carol Clardy Stevens. Nia achieved its 501c3 status in 1998.
“Disability is a matter of perception. If you can do just one thing well, you’re needed by someone.”-Martina Navratilova
